Mexicali
So, I'm in Mexico.
After a while I forget what its like to travel. I mean, training with team Canada twice a day can sometimes feel like groundhog day. Same bidness uvry day. Wake up, let your coaches and trainers brake you down(in a controlled manner of course) so they can build you up stronger, like the billion dollar man or something. But, after a while of putting the time in, you get to do something fun. liiikke......Oh I dunno, go to Mexico!
so after a long day of airports and buses, we're in mexicali, which is on the Mexican/USA border, nice place. I'm tellin you, us Canadians for the most part, don't know how well we have it. Going to places like Brazil Cuba and Mexico remind me of this. I feel like an arrogant prick when i come to these places only to realize how much i take Canada for granted. Honestly, I think we should pay MORE taxes. I mean, we wake up, and we're basically in a theme park. No one is shooting at us, we know how we're gonna eat, we can go to school, the possibilities are close to endless. We should have to pay an entry fee like at universal studios when we wake up. Like a ticket counter beside our beds.
wake up... KICK ASS I GET TO LIVE IN CANADA TODAY! What should I do first?.... hmm, I KNOW I'm gonna exercise my right to free speech.
AANNNYWAYS, all I'm sayin is enjoy Canada, cuz the rest of the world is NOT the same.
but back to the volleyball,... It hasn't started yet. But we're in a dope ass hotel, and in a few days we're moving to Tijuana. All this just cuz we know how to jump high and hit a goofy colored ball. Man, what a crazy world. I'm gonna enjoy this, cuz I know what the alternative could be.
