Sunday Aug 9th 2009

Really I guess there's alot happening right now.  There's a family reunion going on this weekend at my parents house.  From what I hear, its been good for the family.  kinda sucks I can't join,  I hope everyone understands I'd be there if I could.  must be so many flap jacks being thrown around over there.  much love to the decedents of Frank and Bertha Soonias.

Also my team is going to Cuba on tuesday.  We're heading to Havana to play in a three day tournament (wa pada habana you from mang?).  If we win,  we qualify for next years world championship, and if we don't win, we have a tournament the week after in mexico, and that one we gotta win to get a spot in the draw next year.

check this.  Its a simple point but I never really made myself realize it till recently.  you can probably ask any great leader of men in history and he'll tell you the same.  Real leaders don't ask to lead.  Its so simple, but difficult to.  I mean most dudes feel they gotta follow the chain of command.  Why step on toes.  But thats the whole issue.  Thats not leading.  Who has any success "asking" to take the reins.  Anyways, that was an odd discovery of something I've always known.

Also, last night I joined an acappella group in downtown Ottawa.  We were the most amazing and breath taking act the Market saw that night.  I really can't say to much because its too soon.  but it was a night myself and the other members of the group will be talking about late into the night when we're in our fifties.  anyways.

Holy crap, i'm gonna be a best man.  My hetero-life partner Derek Proudfoot asked me to help him out the other day.  I was so surprised when he asked me.  I felt like I was being preposed too.  and honestly I would have let him have me forever.  I was speechless for real.  chocked up like seeing my first child born.  Good news is I have over a year to plan the party.  somebody's going home pregnant like Tracy Morgan or Tracy Jordan is in town.  If anyone has ideas about how to commemorate the night, let me know.  Alright, spread that love,  look at the breeze today,  isn't it pleasant?

Hi!
We met in Mexico when they played the premundial and became fascinated with how to give yourself volleyball, you play amazing, but above all the simplicity you drive to the people you admire as a professional.

I've been reading your blog and has been a real pleasure to meet your human side, and above all see you're a mature guy despite your young age, you write something very nice and very sincere.

Samples that are a nice person and that is the most important in this life is human quality, I know you are very busy especially at this time but hopefully and follow in your spare time writing that is very pleasant encounter with boys as authentic like you.

ah! congratulations on the win! and good luck in whatever comes!
