molding young minds

So, I'm 21, I'm not lookin to have no kids. but talking to young people is awesome.

I'm sitting in my hotel room here down in phoenix (31 celcius by 11am) and Amanda tells me there someone that wants to meet me. So I go out and there a kid I coached at the Jasper Volleyball Camp like 4 years ago. So I get to talkin with his family who are real good people, and it turns out both his parents played at UBC WAY back in the day. In face the wife was on the last UBC team to win CIAU's. very nice people. so me and my man play some pepper for a while and talk about stuff. turns out he's U 15 age (thats midget for us old balls) and he's not sure if he's going to try out for the provincal team. We had a talk while peppering about selling yourself, and challenging the opinion of a coach. I think he's going to try out now. which is really encouraging.

well thats my feel good moment for the week.

So me and Amanda are in phoenix. we made it. check this, the dude at hertz gave us a mustang just cuz. free upgrade style. how dope is that!? but he still charged us the 25 US a day. I thought because we pre paid that was covered? I dunno. we'll today we're gonna drive to LA, cuz right now, we are smack dab right in the middle of the phoenix GE-TOOOE. when we got here we decided to hit carls jr. which is 2 blocks away. and we promply drove by 7 cop cars stopping three seperate incidents. then like 4 on the way back. I understand how the poor get poorer down here. dudes can't cross the street without 5 flashlights in their faces. we haven't been in any rich areas, but i imagine there won't be many cops, cuz they're all circling the block around our hotel. we feel safe. haha. but thats cool, i mean we're out of here in an hour, in our MUSTANG! THATS WHAS UP!? any sudjestions on what we should do while we're down here?
